Winter Lunch Club

October to end of March 2023 Back Room Village Hall 12.25pm – 1.30pm
October Dates: 6^th 13^th and 20^th (NO lunch on the 27^th)

Winter Lunch Club will take place most Thursdays from October 2022 to end of March 2023. It is an opportunity for any villager to come along to the village hall and hopefully enjoy a simple home-cooked meal from a choice of soup, baked potato with filling, pudding, tea/coffee, at very reasonable cost during the winter months. Whether a regular returning or a new face you will be given a warm welcome.

To book your place (max numbers are 22) please telephone Amanda on 810341 before 12 noon on Mondays at the start of the relevant week (leave a message on the answerphone if I am out) or you can sign up when at lunch. If you book a place but can no longer come please let me know. Payment is by cash only.

I run WLC for the community, after costs (hire of hall and ingredients) any profit is shared between a village asset/project (last year WLC purchased 10 A-frame Car Parking signs for use at village events) and a charity which has supported a villager. This year we will hope to make donations to the Brain Tumour Charity and the British Heart Foundation – Village project tbc. I am lucky to have a great team of front of house helpers and we will look forward to seeing you at WLC again this coming winter.
