Health Walks

Aynho Health Walks take place every Thursday morning at 10.0am and leaving from the pavilion. There are three levels of walks:
1.  Walking round the playing field track as many times as you want.
2.  A three mile walk.
3.  A brisk 6 – 7 mile walk.
You choose the one which is right for you!
Each walk has a qualified walk leader and back marker. The leaders have been trained and equipped to deal with minor accidents and regular risk assessments are agreed. Regular walk leaders for the the longer walk (3) are Keith McClellan and Ian Wilson. A number of walk leaders from nearby towns and villages regularly join these walks and can always lead or back up in an emergency.
For the shorter walk (2) and the track walk (1) there are a number of regular leaders; Kathy White, Sue and Derek Hales and Nigel Porter lead or back up regularly.
The walks end at the pavilion. You can sit and have a chat whilst enjoying a jacket potato, bacon roll, soup or the home made cakes as well as a hot or cold drink.

NOTE
As well as the Health Walks there are also a number of very enjoyable circular walks around Aynho.
