Aynho Village Hall Closed

Aynho Village Hall
16th March 2020
RE- CORONAVIRUS

Dear User

Following the latest guidance from the Government today for everyone to reduce or eliminate social contact in clubs, bars and restaurants we have decided to close the Aynho Village Hall until further notice.

Although this may seem a dramatic action and not one specifically recommended by Government, our Chairman and our Parish Council (who are Trustees of the Hall Charity) feel it is prudent for the following reasons:

1. We cannot clean the hall between bookings and many users are in the high-risk age groups. There is uncertainty about how many people, at whatever age, may carry and spread the virus across surfaces and in social groups.

2. Should someone who has used the hall be diagnosed with Coronavirus, we do not have the resources to carry out a deep clean of the facility.

Please be assured we will monitor the National situation closely and open the hall again as soon as practical. In the meantime, we will refund any money paid for forthcoming bookings or defer any payments against future use. Please let Amanda Limb our booking secretary know how you would like to handle the funding of your activities.

Your sincerely

Andy Anderson

Chairman
