Angus makes it – Cardiff to Inverness by Kayak

Cardiff to Inverness Kayak             Ahoy landlubbers!

As you are all probably aware by now I spent my summer kayaking from Cardiff to Inverness to raise money for the RNLI.  On Friday August 15th I arrived in Inverness after seven and a half weeks on the water, during which I managed to travel just under 900 miles (a little under the original estimate as I cut across the mouth of a few bays that I had intended to go around!).Particular thanks to everyone who helped me to raise over £4,000.   This is a tremendous sum of money, being enough to cover the annual training costs of four crew members!  If anyone still wishes to donate you can follow the JustGiving link below, or drop an envelope through the door.  You can also see more pictures on my Facebook page.Thank you all once again for all of your support during this expedition.  It was a huge confidence boost to know that you were all showing an interest and backing me.

Aynho should be proud of its supportive and generous community.
