Angus makes it – Cardiff to Inverness by Kayak
Cardiff to Inverness Kayak Ahoy landlubbers!
As you are all probably aware by now I spent my summer kayaking from Cardiff to Inverness to raise money for the RNLI. On Friday August 15th I arrived in Inverness after seven and a half weeks on the water, during which I managed to travel just under 900 miles (a little under the original estimate as I cut across the mouth of a few bays that I had intended to go around!).Particular thanks to everyone who helped me to raise over £4,000. This is a tremendous sum of money, being enough to cover the annual training costs of four crew members!
