Prayers for the Week

A PRAYER FOR ALL THOSE AFFECTED BY
CORONAVIRUS

Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing
can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NEW TO PRAYER?
The Lord’s Prayer is the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples, when they asked him how they should pray.  Try it.

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
