March dates for Winter Lunch Club: Thursdays: 7, 14, 21 and 28 Time: 12.15pm-1.30pm Where: Village Hall
Winter Lunch Club is a community-based lunch offering any villager a home-cooked meal at a very reasonable price in a warm, friendly
atmosphere in the village hall most Thursdays October-end of March with all profit (after costs) being donated to support various village amenities and this year a donation will be given to Alzheimer’s Research UK.
Thursday 28 March will be the last lunch of the current winter. WLC has been very well attended every week and I would like to thank Amanda Leigh for her amazing support ‘front of house’. Thank you also to Hazel, Sue and Annabel who have so kindly helped on occasion. No booking is
required, just turn up! However, if you are going to arrive with a group of ‘extras’ it is always helpful to have a little notice so that there will be enough food. Amanda
