Poppy Appeal 2020 Arrangements

The Poppy Appeal launched on 22 October and this year will be a real challenge to raise funds for the great cause because of COVID. We know this affects all charities and their fundraising.

In Aynho we have had house to house collections for years through a succession of willing volunteers. But we are not allowed house to house collections this year.

Instead our house to house volunteer collectors will offer their house as extra ‘static points’ – so if you can’t get a poppy please drop by one of these houses to make your donation and pick up what you want for your household. We have plenty of poppies!

1 Aynho Court (Douglas Ward)

1 Cartwright Gardens (Gemma Sawbridge)

23 The Glebe (Roger Wertheimer)

3 Portway (Paul Sherratt)

15 The Butts (Ian Calderbank)

12 Bowmens Lea (Amanda Leigh)

27 Blacksmith’s Hill (Michael Johnson)

4 Charlton Road (Amanda Kelly –  Saturdays and Sundays only)

6 The Square (Andrew Bellamy)

33 Roundtown (Graham Gibbs)

6 College Fields (Mark Gallagher)

Every poppy counts – watch the video

Please support this cause if you can.
Thank you
