Carol & Christingle Church Service Registering is Essential

The Carol and Christingle Service is on Sunday 20th December at 5.30pm.

We hope to see as many people as possible in the Church for the Service –  but we have to keep you all as safe as we can.  You understand!

We will need to allocate places – and we need to keep a list of those attending…..and therefore we are going to ask you to register for the place or places you would like.  Nothing complicated – just let Kathy or me know by email or telephone….before Monday 14th December, which is when we will widen those we ask if they would also like to come.

About the Service

The Carol and Christingle Service will be taken by Reverend Sue.

Children will have made Christingles….and will, we hope, do their dressing up in the Boswell tradition.

Parishioners will read the Lessons.

We will have all the carols as normal – but there can be no singing in the congregation – the Carols will be sung by a famous Church choir and will come through the loudspeakers (beautifully and meaningfully we hope!) It will not be what you expected and so it is best that you know beforehand.  It may alter your decision about coming – but we hope not.

The collection at the Service will be distributed equally between Katharine House Hospice and the Brackley Foodbank – please support.

Face coverings have to be worn – and we will be using the reduced distances of 1 metre in social distancing between households.  (It is helpful that we are all facing forward)

We are not planning to use “every other pew” as we have been doing since July but instead trying to use as much of the available space – safely – as we can. Some lucky ones will use the balcony.
