Church Services Cancelled

Owing to the continued COVID situation nationally and locally the PCC  has decided that services should not continue at St Michael’s Church for the next 3 weeks. Thus the communion services planned for 24th January and the 7th February are cancelled.

The PCC will review future services at their next meeting on 10th February – and will bear in mind that Lent starts the following week and is very important in the Church calendar.

Important also is the wonderful progress being made in getting first jabs – and we have much to be grateful for around here with the great organisation of our medical practices. Many, or most, of our elderly folk have at least had their first jab – and some their second! The next groups eagerly await the call. We continue to pray for all those involved on the front line doing their absolute best for us.

In the meantime the Rector leads a Service on Zoom each Sunday morning as all should know,  and St Michael’s remains open for private prayer on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 3pm.
