Annual Parochial Church Meeting Tuesday 25th May

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) covering elections, reports and all things of general importance to our Parish of Aynho will be held in the Church at 7pm on Tuesday 25^th May – as forewarned in the village newsletter and other notices.

In the absence of our Rector, Sue, presently on sick leave, we will be joined by the Rural Dean, Reverend Carolyn Oley, who will act in an assurance role as we conduct the business for the evening.

Everyone is welcome to the Meeting and to take part in the proceedings. Since we could not have a meeting last year it is a little bit more important this year that the Church’s business is concluded in public.

However understanding the  continued effects of COVID we will ensure that the Meeting is held safely – social distancing, antibac, and face coverings will all apply. We will aim to keep the meeting as short as possible as well.

In view of the latter for those who like to read/see the detail of all the activity in or by the Church and by us representing you on the PCC,  here are the  Statement of  Accounts 2020 and the APCM Annual Report 2020.  These will be lodged with the Diocese following the meeting.  By publishing these now it should not be necessary to cover all the detail at the meeting itself.   We shall refer to the Reports and be ready for any comments or questions that you may have.

If you cannot attend the meeting and have questions or comments please do send them in advance to Kathy or Andrew as the current, acting churchwardens.
