Recorded Music Society: November Meeting
ARMS (AYNHO RECORDED MUSIC SOCIETY)
A most impressive programme was presented by Ian. He led us in a well structured and erudite manner from the Baroque to Classical and from there to the Romantic and finally to the Modern. He incorporated Palestrina and Allegri from the Baroque era with Mozart and Beethoven from the Classical period, followed by Verdi and Dvorak representing the Romantic to Shosatakovitch and Britten of the Modern. Many other
composers were included and 18 items in all were played. Altogether a prodigious programme. Our next meeting will be December 3rd.
