Recorded Music Society: April Meeting
It is doubtful whether ARMS has ever been treated to such a positive maelstrom of recordings that Lee presented in the April programme. Nineteen items flowed out including songs by Johnnie Ray, Frankie Lane, Eddie Fisher, Sophie Tucker, Sinatra and John Denver, and also featured was Beethoven’s “Rustle of Spring” and “The Emperor Concerto No.5”. All 19 items were announced fully and interestingly- a good programme. Thank you Lee. A special welcome to visitors from Croughton.
