Aynho: Welcome to the new village web site
Welcome to Aynho’s new village web site. We hope it will become the focal point for residents and visitors to find out more about the village, what’s going on, the things we all care about and how to get involved. If you’ve got a few minutes take a look around – hopefully there’s lots to interest and inform. And if you’re passionate about something why not draft your own article and get it posted onto the web site.
We hope the structure of the site’s content is logical and easy to navigate the increasing depth of information about the village. We’ve created separate sections for the Parish Council to report whats going on, updates from our church, St Michael, and a brief timeline of the village dating back to Roman times. The two other sections are focused on village life, being ‘News’ with articles, updates and events that’s happening in the village. And ‘Getting Involved’ with a calendar of community events, booking facilities for the recreational and sports facilities and village hall and, lastly, information for visitors to Aynho telling them how to get here, where to stay and eat.
If you’re interested we’re always looking for villagers to help manage this resource, contribute articles on village issues of interest or give us feedback of how this resource could be improved. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to the new web site to receive regular updates of the latest news, events, issues of importance and things to get involved with.
